PROFESSOR OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE SYSTEMS
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Graduate degree (preferably PhD) in one of the following areas: animal production science or veterinary medicine.
Extensive practical experience in working with animals is required.
Experience in sustainable agriculture systems.
Experience in facilitating learning processes is highly desirable.
International experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
Excellent abilities in interdisciplinary and multicultural teamwork.
Willingness to live and work in a rural area.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate students’ learning of the principles, skills and practical experiences associated with agricultural production systems composed of ruminant and mono-gastric animals. Likewise, evaluate the socio-economic possibilities for their environmentally-friendly productive integration.
Participate in outreach activities of the University and support the activities of the Permanent Education Program and International Academic Relations.
Participate in research projects involving EARTH students and in scientific or professional activities as related to your field.
Support other activities related to university service.
