The successful applicant will be joining Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading research led universities. This Research Associate post will form part of Cardiff Business School, Welsh Economy Research Unit activities. You will work in a small project team with interests in regional policy, regional economic analysis, and regional economic modelling. The successful candidate will provide research support to the Welsh Economy Research Unit, taking an active role in the delivery of research projects.

To conduct research around the area of the Welsh economy. To provide research and management support to a small project team interested in regional economic analysis and policy. To contribute to the overall research performance of the School and University, carrying out research leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals.
This full-time post will be part of Cardiff Business School, Welsh Economy Research Unit activities.
This position is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term from 1st October 2016 until 31st December 2020
