Location: Harpenden, Herts
As part of the UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board's ‘Centres for Excellence for Agricultural Innovation’, Rothamsted Research has been awarded funds to participate in three of the assets of the Crop Health and Protection Centre (CHAP www.chap-solutions.co.uk). These are housed in the Rothamsted Centre for Research and Enterprise at Rothamsted’s Harpenden site. We now require experienced technicians to run these assets and to interact with each other and with relevant research group leaders on site. The successful applicant will join a world class research team at Rothamsted and benefit from being part of the wider CHAP Centre in the following position:

To fill this exciting and challenging role we are seeking a highly motivated senior technician with qualifications and experience in biological science. Excellent team working and communications skills are essential for this position. The successful candidate must also be able to develop and apply new concepts and have a creative and driven approach to problem solving.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified pre- and post- doctoral technicians with appropriate skills. The position is full time, initially until 31 March 2019 with a starting salary within the range of £32,315 and £41,438 per annum depending on the skills and experiences of the candidate.
