Equipment

Complementing other animal health research laboratories, this serology laboratory provides scientific and technical support to research groups in relation to the detection and microbiological diagnosis of infections in food animals.

Distributed in two locations within the same building, it is equipped for the performance of serological techniques, among others, determination and quantification of serum fractions, agglutination assays, complement fixation, ELISA or double gel diffusion.

Porcine and ruminant serology area, equipped with:

Microvolume spectrophotometer to measure DNA, RNA, protein quality, ELISA: BioteK-EPOCH linked to a HP Compact computer.
ELISA plate washer: Nunc-ImmunoTM Wash (12 channels)
OR-ST1500 gas extraction cabinet. Burdinola
Memmert and Assab incubator
Telstar® BioII A Biological Safety Cabinet.
GLP21 pH meter. Crison
