The Center for Agrifood Research and Technology of Aragon has three experimental farms for the development of field trials to support research. Each of them reproduces the most characteristic agricultural and livestock production systems of the Aragonese geography.
"La Garcipollera" Farm
Experimental farm located in Bescós de la Garcipollera (Huesca), serves as a support for research in mountain agro-livestock systems, in relation to acclimatization, management, health and environmental effects of grazing.
It has a pasture area for grazing, livestock of native breeds, facilities for breeding and stabling, and a collection of fruit trees from programs for the recovery of mountain varieties.
