Reproduction Laboratory

Specialized laboratories that provide scientific-technical support to research in physiopathology and biotechnology of animal reproduction and its application to the livestock sector, with the aim of achieving an increase in the reproductive efficiency of animals, and ultimately an increase in productivity.

It has the following areas:

• Reproductive diagnosis laboratory
• Semen technology laboratory
• Semen preservation laboratory
• In vitro fertilization laboratory

It has a swine reproductive diagnosis and consultancy service, aimed at detecting and solving reproductive problems in farms and insemination centers, supported by the complete anatomopathological study of the genital and urinary tract of samples collected at the slaughterhouse.
