Are you passionate about the training of the next generation of veterinary nurses? If so, we are developing our veterinary nursing team, to include a new role which will enable experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses who aspire to work in the education sector a realistic opportunity to achieve this. This position will include both the roles of:

1. An Assessor; to assess our apprentice Veterinary Nurses which will build on experience as a clinical coach. You will be liaising with Veterinary practices to ensure quality is upheld and co-ordinating apprentices for their qualification in the workplace.

2. As a lecturer within the Animal Studies FE team teaching, predominantly but not limited to, Veterinary Nursing related subjects which would be supported with appropriate training.

The successful applicant will have achieved a minimum of a Level 3 veterinary related qualification and have demonstrable experience of working in a veterinary practice. Completion of Assessor and Verifier qualification, or be willing to attain, is required. In addition to preferably have their own transport for which agreed mileage will be paid.

This post is based at the Sparsholt campus.
