Line 1.2. Physiological bases of plant production

Production optimization requires knowledge of physiological processes in plant production under our environmental and socioeconomic conditions, in key processes such as reproductive biology, winter rest, agroclimatic requirements during flowering, response to biotic or abiotic stresses and morphological and physiological processes related to enzymatic oxidation in plant species, as well as the influence of various environmental and management factors and propagation methods.

This line includes three sublines:

  • Physiological mechanisms with impact on production and harvest.
  • Physiology of biotic and abiotic stress in plants.
  • Nutritional status of plants.
