The candidate should be able to deliver teaching excellence at undergraduate and postgraduate level to students undertaking programmes of study within the College, with expertise in one or more of the following areas of Food Studies: Food Policy; Hospitality information technology and Food operations to further develop the curricula. He/she should be able to ensure all academic quality processes are adhered to and monitored, and provide academic and pastoral support to all students. Moreover, the candidate will be required to work with the relevant Head of Subject to support the development of marketing, recruitment, admissions, retention and progression plans and processes so as to increase levels of achievement and student satisfaction in the areas of teaching and learning and participate in any other activities in the College.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a subject relevant to Food Studies and preferably a PhD in a relevant field or studying towards a PhD. You will also have HEA Fellowship (or willingness to undertake within 6 months of employment). A specialist with up-to-date knowledge of Food Studies with significant experience of teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate level is required, as well as extensive experience of curriculum design and development.
