Line 1.4. Development of sustainable agricultural systems

To address the integral study of more economically and environmentally efficient agricultural systems through the management of soil tillage, the study of plant covers, water and soil management, and the development of innovative and sustainable technologies for the protection of crops against pests, diseases and arvense flora, which guarantee the quality of food and respect for the environment.

This line includes four sublines:

  • Biological and ecological dynamics of the agricultural ecosystem.
  • Crop protection and innovative strategies for integrated pest management.
  • Sustainable use of water-soil resources and environmental impact of agricultural activities.
  • Preventive and control measures with new products of natural origin.
